In some scenes it's even obvious she can't fully move her mouth.
Many people seem to be put off by the satire of woke ideology, it clashes with what they are being taught in university, namely that it is fine using minority politics to further own careerism and replace previous discriminations with the white, straight male discrimination. The show is very effective at showing that society should learn to do better than it did in the past and stop this nonsense of the cynical rush for moral grandstanding and competence-agnostic career profiling. Replacing biggotry, homophobia, racism and homophobia with new discrimination in reverse is essentially falling into the same kind of evil that we had in the past, just targeting different populations.
I think that's why some people feel irked by it, it forces them to question their moral high ground. I personally think it is refreshing to see how ruthless the show is with woke ideology.
Um, no. No one has a right to infringe upon the rights of others. In the United States, we all have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That means, just because you may not like women, or black people or gay people you do not have the right to suppress the rights of those people. You can dislike them! But, you can't take away their rights. Not liking someone who wants to take away the rights of others isn't discrimination or "reverse" bigotry. If I open a restaurant and I say anyone can come in except straight, white conservative males THEN I'm discriminating. It's all about our rights, not our feelings. So, when a governor like Ron DeSantis and his followers decide that drag performers can't earn a living, that is infringing upon the rights of drag performers. Don't be on the wrong side of history in defending these people who think they are victims because they can't instill laws that make it hard or impossible for minorities, women, or members of the LGBTQ+ community to fully live their lives as we are promised in the Declaration of Independence.

I am gay myself, i just think based on the philosophical foundations of Woke ideology (French theory, critical race theory, genre theory, etc.) that it seeks to inverse values. Just like Marxism put the blame on economical domination, Woke ideology puts the blame on culturally normative domination so that even if you are poor and faced discrimination, it won't make you a victim if you are a white straight man. Woke ideology is seeking to inverse all values, make the norm evil and the fringe virtuous without consideration for the individual, or their actual merits and flaws. It is all based on group belonging, not competence or individual merits - the individual is entirely defined by his belonging. For example:
- Feminine rather than masculine (feminism)
- Racial minorities instead of white majority (antiracism)
- Animals instead of humans (anti-speciesm, veganism)
- Homosexuality rather than heterosexuality (gay rights activism)
- Fluidity rather than binary (transactivism)
- The victim rather than the hero (victimism)
- Ego instead of humility and kindness (narcissism, Machiavellianism)
- Third world instead of the West (postcolonialism)
- The inform rather than the beautiful (contemporary art)
- Pathological obesity instead of health (body-positivism)
- Handicap rather than the functional (anti-ableism, neurodiversism)
- Present and future rather than the past (presentism)
- Faithlessness rather than religion (atheism)
- Matter rather than soul (materialsm)
- Chaos and criminals rather than order, law, police and authority (anarchism)
- Deviance rather than conformity (attack on Sound of Freedom and defense of pedophilia)
- Chaos instead of order and authority
- Desire instead of responsibility
- Subcultures instead of classic culture
- Irrational feelings and relativity rather than rational objectivity (objectivity is the subjectivity of the white male aka mansplaining)
Woke ideology does not stop at rebalancing - it seeks a complete inversion, as can be read in the fathers of Woke ideology (Derrida, Lacan, Foucault,..). Wokism is a nihilism that seeks to invert and destroy all that once was.
Someone's been watching too much Alex Jones. Most people who are considerate and concerned about the rights and lives of marginal populations and animals are not looking to reverse discrimination. They aren't living their lives based on someone else's perceptions and definitions of "woke ideology." It doesn't matter if you're gay. You're just as bad as anyone else who continues to justify their tired prejudices because they're afraid of what they will lose.

I never said most people were looking to reverse discrimination.
I said Woke ideology is, which is the extremist fringe of those minorities, who claim to represent them but are in actuality corrupt organizations gangrened by narcissists, for example
- BLM promotes anti-white rhetoric, not equal opportunity, and their founding family has been siphoning the money they receive from unassuming "everyday people" as the victims
- MeTo Movement is launching multiple assaults on me through legal pressure to discredit well respected men, who then later get relaxed (just after their career was ruined - see Kevin Spacey). They have anti-men hate.
- Transactivism is getting out of control with a totalitarian approach that seems to create new rules and challenges for all to fail, so much so that the LGB alliance was created to host all of the rational every day people who don't agree with their extremist demands (transwomen having more rights in women sports than women, 120kg bearded muscled guys allowed to go to women prisons and bathrooms, trying to shove personas, vibes, avatars and moods into the concept of gender (insisting on changing pronouns based on how you feel, instead of adopting a nick name), going for maximum inconvenience on the population, even renaming established categories of masculine Lesbians and feminine gays as nonbinary and 99% of the population as "cis" for no reason).
The problem is that those movements and associations claim to represent a minority when actually their views are the extreme fringe of that community. It is sickening to see those virtue signaling, moral grandstanding groups speak in favor of reverse discrimination when most people could not care less.
There is a reason black voters are gravitating towards Trump for the next election, despite BLM's best efforts. Voters are not dumb and realize Woke ideology is being weaponized.
