Only mentions him in passing. Bulger’s crime syndicate was centered on South Boston (“Southie”) and involved the violent control of the narcotics trade. This story is about targeting the Charleston/East Boston bank/armored car robbers. If you saw The Town (or know Boston) then you’ll know that there has been a generational history of bank heist gangs living and operating out of Charleston.
