specific parts of this were good
some of the writing between the characters was pretty good and made them sympathetic and real. And the fact that they used actual young actors to play young high school students was great - they actually looked like they could be 15.
But . . . the whole last part of the film was too over the top. some of the tension they developed from more or less believable situations was washed away by the ridiculous "throw all the characters together in a blender of violence" ending.
Also. . . one of the characters is water logged and caught for what must be hours in a river. Would it have hurt them to at least wet down his clothes a little bit when they locate him?
Overall, not a terrible waste of time despite a very low budget.
