The phone as a weapon

I get the use of the phone as a weapon was to have it come full circle, in regards to the phone aiding him. However, he had just put a hole through a concrete wall with the toilet tank cover, which is WAY heavier than that phone. One good wack with that would have ended him.

It was symbolic, since the phone was Finn's connection to the dead children and then became an instrument of their collective revenge.
