Not Allen's best, but not his worst

I just finished watching A Rainy Day in New York. Written and directed by Woody Allen, the film stars Timothee Chalamet and Elle Fanning as a young couple in New York for the weekend who find their relationship tested. While I don't think this is one of Allen's best films, it is certainly not one of his worst. It's a fairly witty and pleasantly amusing film with some nice performances. It's definitely worth a watch. My rating is a 7/10.

I've been an Allen fan since "What's New Pussycat?" and "Take the Money and Run". Some of his films are better than others, but I've found them all to be worth seeing at least once. "A Rainy Day in New York" is my favorite light romantic comedy of his in a long time, and I will definitely be watching it again.
