flop or a billion?

most sequels dont seem to do well, like Jumanji.

wonder if this will break the mold...

reply

People seemed to like the first one okay.

reply

yeah true, it was good, but sequels rarely do well, even wonder woman is suffering the same fate....

reply

Yeah, I'm sure that took WB by surprise.

With it being confirmed it will now take place in the same world as the MCU, I think it will do better than you expect. Plus there are a lot of fans of Carnage and guys will take their girlfriends to go see this. Also, the Jumanji sequel did well and they are now coming out with a third one here the next year. So it wasn't really a flop. Also the original Jumanji didn't do so well at the box office either.

There's still conflicting information about whether it's actually in the MCU or not. I think Amy Pascal at Sony has said these movies are MCU adjacent (whatever that means), but Kevin Feige at Marvel hasn't said anything confirming this. If anything it's in the multiverse and anything that happens will be inconsequential to the MCU as a whole.

Why are people so obsessed with this stupid "billion" thing? As long as it is not my net profit I don't care at all.

reply

its a flop, this movie was terrible and was a rip off of spiderman 3.

reply

Was it really that bad? The WHOLE Venom thingy was already done in Spiderman 3, so what? No reboots anymore? My saying...
I liked Venom's emancipation attempt in this one. And Woody Harrelson is ALWAYS a better villain than Topher Grace...

These comedy shows show an immature sick and twisted thats not funny. It was the worst show, the way it was shot and directed and acted. It was creeoy.
