They look positively ugly compared to Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, their portrayers in the Conjuring movie series.
They arent ugly, they are normal people. Hollywood, media magazines, and MSM has glamorized looks so much that they now have singers that are household names that do NOT write their own music! Think back to Queen, Freddie Mercury was not a looker but he had TALENT could sing and write his own music!

I've been saying this for years. Now days everyone has to look like Brad Pitt, but it used to be that most actors and actresses on tv and in the movies were just ordinary looking. Think back to shows like Bewitched, the men who played Darren's coworkers at his office were old white men who looked nothing like Don Draper. Some of the most popular actors and actresses were pretty ordinary looking, some of them not that attractive at all (think Wally Cox and Don Knotts). Walter Matheau, in my opinion, was nothing to write home about in the looks department, yet he was often cast in romantic leading roles in the 60s and 70s.
