I meant the names like "Empower-Mint", "I dough, I dough". But I'm not on the same political fence that they are (far left), so that's just me. That closes the book on my part here. Alec Baldwin and Ben and Jerry whom I brought up weren't even controversial to the fans, nor even topical., But Kathy Griffin did make an enemy of herself by holding that bloody Trump picture back in 2017, outraging those across the political spectral and the ice cream company DID offen many folks with those ice cream names-Empor-mint (the Black Lives Matter-named Ice Cream, and the thankfully tempoary Schweddy Balls, based in that Saturday Night Live sketch that dealt with women's part, though that was an admittedly funny joke, and anyway.) but I should have in the first place only mentioned her.I'll just end my comment on this here. Getting back to the movie at hand, "A Simple Favor', this wasn't even at the slightest, meant to BE a Kathy Griffin film. Hey, what part could she play (a ultra left jerkk>>) The roles for this film were finally cast for Blake Lively and the others. Not Kathy Griffin. Sorry. Maybe in a sequel. You know how even non-blockbusters get seuqels and stuff. This was a BIG hit, and no Kathy Griffin. There's other places where Kahty Griffin is in films. BTW And I was wrong on some of the things I said about the other examplkes I gve, Alec Baldwin and ben and Jerry Ice cream, as a lot of their ice cream flavors, like Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) as in 30 rock and Cookie Dough, which was a legfitimate first used by beloved ice creameries, are not controverial at all. BUt not so harmless were other names for the flavors.

Empower Mint is a call to civilians to show up and vote. Maybe on a stretch you could say it is left leaning since historically left leaning voters have poor turnout but i don't think the sentiment is controversial.
I dough i dough might be considered controversial 20 years ago when gay marriage wasn't the fad catch word as it is now.
These days claiming that you are against legalizing gay marriage is WAY more controversial. Just look at the flak Chick-Fil-A get or the whole Carrie Prejean thing.
