Me too. Some of them could have even been trimmed here and there where there wasn't much going on, or we had guessed it already. (And seeing her job interview at the end was pretty unnecessary for me--the dynamics between her and Colin were clear long before.)

I do like it. I laugh at myself, though, because I will resist watching a series with 45 minute episodes, yet I routinely watch two consecutive 30-minute episodes.

Yes and no. It allowed them to have episodes with a strong focus on a narrative element that wouldn't hold up to an hour runtime, but at the same time these half-hour episodes also had longer flash back/forward scenes, cutting the total time they could spend on a specific narrative thread.

I'd say its mostly a wash if not a slight negative in that IMHO, the show lost tension and steam in the last third or so of episodes. I didn't really feel like it exposed much more conspiracy or mystery towards the end, especially given that for the most part, besides Bobby Cannavale's character, pretty much everyone had a happy-ish ending.

Whatever memory erasing property this new drug has doesn't actually seem to have the kind of negative side effects you'd expect.

I did, too! The second season got much lower ratings than the first but I loved both seasons.
