Humans were cloned and the people above ground r the clones? The clones share the same soul?

What was the point of having them switch ,the twist at the end . If it’s not like she was evil

Who said the people above ground were the clones? It was the other way around.

I thought the people under ground were the actual humans and above “us” are the clones because we was design to follow our leader “the president “

the movie's story had about as much logic to it as a badgers fart and there were plot holes galore.
