Why do millenials have to use their phones during the film?

It is very distracting and rude to everyone else in the theater when you unlock your phone and we can all see the bright screen in the corner of our eyes. No you are not hiding it well enough, we can always see it.
In this day and age it has gotten so bad that they now leave the phones in the cup holder and answer texts throughout the film!

Thats why I hardly ever seen movies in theaters anymore.

Its not just millenials, its all inconsiderate imbecils who should be kicked out if they do that during the movie. But it is mostly millenials yeah due to their narcissistic nature and phone dependency. Its why I go so rarely to the movies,I too often get in disputes and sooner or later I'll get my as5 kicked or I'll hurt someone and then Ill be sued for their hospital bills.

I wish cinemas had security who would take care of that. I would be willing to pay a bit more for such a cinema who had such people employed who would remove people who keep talking or distracting others by using the phone.

I don't mind them using it before and during trailers but it fucking annoys me to the core after the commercials say put your phone away, don't kick the seat in front of you, don't talk during the show, people still fucking do it. Why I am pro-whoever decides to come guns blazing. Good thing I don't pay a dime when I go see the movies in theater though else I'd stop going to the movies altogether so I can't complain much.

reply

I go to a theater in Burbank that's underground. Phones don't work underground. It's the only theater I go to.

reply

Almost every cinema has a no-cellphone-usage rule that is prominently advertised before the previews. It is never enforced with any conviction. Why? Because the illiterate retards who work there are busy staring at their cellphones near the concession counter.

I always go to the first show on Saturday bc it’s a hell of a lot cheaper and I never run into these problems

reply

um that is the exact opposite of my experience.
saturday is the busiest day of the week with the most millenials attending the movies. it is also the most expensive day of the week, tuesday is the cheap day.

reply

"First show"
