Why is Bruce in chains?
We just saw him last a free man in a diner. They are letting us see a lot for a reason. I'm legit excited for this

As for why dramatically, it allows exposition - the three principals get to “tell their story” to the shrink, thereby bringing the audience up to speed in case they missed the prior films
