You know what this show needs to really crack this case?

I don't think Nathan Fillion will ever guest star on her TV series because of what happened on "Castle" (2009 - 2016).

There was some speculation as to why the series was canceled. I think Nathan and Stana had a falling-out. There were rumors that Stana just didn't like working with Nathan anymore, or perhaps she just got sick and tired of playing the Kate Beckett character.

I will never watch "Absentia" because of her. It seems awfully convenient that once "Castle" bit the dust, she moves right onto her next project. She didn't even give "Castle" enough time for a grieving period. I don't even think she commented on the show's demise. I get it, she's an actress, and in showbiz you really don't want to waste any time, but come on, at least say something.

Now I read that "Absentia" was renewed for a second season and will air in the U.S. Well, no thanks. She can take this show and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

I still blame her for what happened to my beloved TV show. There was so much potential as to how the Richard and Kate characters would have dealt with children of their own. I wanted to see how Kate would be as a mother. They could have potentially bounced back from the awful eighth season, but ABC never gave them a chance. Since they were executive producers, I'm sure they had a say-so in just about every decision which is why I believe Stana put the kibosh on "Castle".
