"Star-Lord WILL return"
Oh, COME ON! Can't ANY movie series come to a definitive end these days???
I thought these GotG movies were DONE now! They were all fun, but all things come to an end!
It said Star Lord will return, it didn't say anything about GoTG. He could return in a solo movie or in the next Avengers.
shareWhat is disappointing about that? He's a great character, and these are comic book movies. They are meant to continue. Once one story arc has been completed, the next one begins. We witnessed Starlord's time with the Guardians of the Galaxy, but who knows what new adventures await him? If anything, he's one of the most interesting characters left. He's basically just a regular human, with no special skills or weapons. He has no armor, no shield, no training, and now that he's back on earth, besides having a spaceship and a reputation, he's just a normal dude. Whatever will befall him? I'm curious to see where the take the character next.
shareThey did the right thing stripping Star-Lord out of the Guardians and sticking him on Earth. MCU needs a new "Iron Man" and Chris Pratt is the man for the job.
shareI'd love to see him in a cameo in another film or tv series, as a talking head on Fox news or the View, as to what it is like out there, and what it was like to date Thano's daughter.
That could be hilarious.
AND, I want to hear about how his life is going nicely. At this point I care about the sympathetic character he is and I want him to have a happy "ending".
