According to wikipedia, Joel Hodgeson is behind this entire return, is a writer, and appears in every episode as the henchman in the hazmat suit that pulls the lever to start the movie. Good to know this isn't just some corporate exploitation of a beloved property.

I wish Mike Nelson would come back as a writer. Mike first appears as a write in season 2. While the new show is decent, it's hurting without Mike's wit and humor.
