So... do they buy the house in the end or is it just another plan that will fail?

I love this film. It’s a dark comedy about social class differences. First half plays like The Sting. Second half is like a Coen Bros violent finale.

The film is best appreciated by Asian audiences but western viewers can still relate, especially if they enjoy films like A Simple Favor.

The scene where they show the son buying the show and the dad coming out is a dream of sorts. The final scene establishes that it is the son's plan to actually do this.

It was all a pipe dream. He was incredibly unlikely to ever be able to buy the house.
