What this made me think

What a genius was one Humphrey Bogart. The way he would inhabit a role like this. The authenticity. Few could ever match it.

This is a good script and made well for the most part and it's good to see this kind of story again after such a long time. Neeson and Kruger were decent, but not up to the level I would like to see.

You get the impression that he could have carried the dialogue better.

Almost everyone in this movie sounds like they're reading, not acting.

Wonder if the pandemic had an effect. Maybe they couldn't do as many takes as they would like?

On the other hand, for the director, he did not originate the project as usual, but was brought on later as hired gun. Maybe his enthusiasm wasn't there?

Who was the original director?

I dunno. He may have been the first director, but I believe he also writes and so typically originates his own projects. In this case other people put together the movie and brought him on board, if you see what I mean.
