It's like every movie wants to do a multiverse theme story.

it's funny because the two daniels who created the film claim they wrote the script a decade ago, but were unnable to produce it because of the budget. since then, several films about multiverses started coming out, and it actually really upset them and they were forced to change it because they wanted to avoid similarities to spiderman and rick & morty.

This movie is only multiverse in the sense that Shutter Island is a murder mystery.
