It was a decent movie
that gave us a window into the caste system that still apparently prevails in India. Was also a great character study. We see how far down the hole one man is willing to go in order to break out of his lowly caste.

shareSweet system if you're on top.
shareThe protagonist explains that the caste system is over. One of the more luminary scenes is where his boss askes for his families caste and does not even recognize it and just asks if they are poor or not. His family were desert makers, he becomes a driver, and then the movie ends with him becoming upper-class by acquiring 50K in a briefcase. This movie is entirely about the ramification of the abolishment of the class system in India. Does the movie not start with a quote to the effect of "Their used to be 10k classes in India, now they are only 2. The rich and the poor."?
