I decided to give this a second chance. I hated it the first time because it was nothing fan service and bad jokes. I finished the movie and forgot the whole thing.

Today I tried to view it again. It's obnoxious. The constant winks to the audience are pathetic. The acting is terrible. The timing sucks. It looks cheap and you can tell the cast is loved by Smith. To his credit, he seems loyal to his friends. Too bad this is a terrible movie.

I LIKED IT...IT WASN'T AMAZING...BUT IT WAS ENTERTAINING AND ENJOYABLE.

That's good. Movies Don't appeal to everyone. At least there are fans so it's not a complete loss.

Big question: does Mallrats still work for you?
I can't enjoy it anymore. I watched it a few weeks ago.

YEAH...I DIG MALLRATS...I DO THINK IT HAS THE FEEL OF A DISTINCT TIME PERIOD ...WHICH KIND OF DATES IT ....I STILL ENJOY IT BUT CLERKS AND CHASING AMY HOLD UP MUCH BETTER ALL THESE YEARS LATER.

I actually liked this. I watched Clerks 3 last night and really disliked it but everyone seems to have liked it. So I guess I'm contrary, which I often am when it comes to individual films within franchises.

I really like both. Clerks 2 wasn't as good as Clerks but it was still pretty good.
