Is anyone looking forward to this movie? it's Kevin Smiths first movie since Clerks 2 using the characters that got him famous.
Yoga Hosers didn't really work for me which stared his daughter, and it looks like she'll have another major-role in this movie. Feels like Kevin is really trying to help up start her career, but it only makes sense I guess, he's always seemed to cast friends/family so why not his kid.
I just found out about this, had no idea it was being made. I enjoyed the first one so I am excited for this. Will I make a trip to the theater for it, most likely not, but I will certainly rent it.

Though it’s never been in my top 10 most anticipated movies of the year list or anything, it’s definitely always been on my radar. I’m a fan of the first Jay & Silent Bob (the characters in general as well as the universe they inhabit) and the idea behind this “reboot” is something I’m totally on board with. Furthermore, knowing how passionate Kevin is about what he does, especially when it comes to his classic characters, I’ll be glad to go and support this movie. Good or bad (or simply ok), I expect this movie will be a fun time. All those big name cameos? Sweet.
As for Kevin’s daughter, she is awesome. She was little Silent Bob in the first movie and the fact she’s now going to have a major role in the sequel/reboot is cool. I’ve liked her in everything she’s appeared so far, so needless to say I do look forward to seeing her in this movie (don’t have any problem whatsoever with her old man giving her the spotlight btw).
