The violence in the show...holy shit.

I just watched the first two episodes, and...holy shit. I heard the show was violent, but I didn't know it was going to be on that level. I'm talking about when Dracula unleashed his creatures on the people (after giving them a year). Seeing everyone getting torn apart like that (complete with guts) was just brutal.

But what I found most particularly fucked up, was seeing children getting killed and dismembered like that (with one kid on the ground with half his body torn). I know it's just a show, but...that was beyond fucked up. It almost feels a little too real after some of the shit that happened in the world in 2022.

I know this is a show from 2017, obviously. I'm just saying. I feel like I watched this at the wrong time, lol. I've seen R-rated movies with not even half the level of violence that scene had.

Hopefully I don't get some snide response of someone telling me to go back and watch an episode of Winnie the Pooh.

Get back to watching Peppa Pig! Haha, just kidding...

I haven't rewatched season 1 since it came out & I honestly don't mind violence as long as it's not those "torture porn" ones. You know, like the Saw & Hostel movies.

But when it's like creatures, vampires or werewolves eating people & stuff, I don't mind it

Also, haven't you heard, they're making a violent, brutal version of Winnie the Pooh...

Yep, I saw that trailer a while back.

I couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous it was. Especially when Pooh snapped the girl's neck.

Like, I swear. The movie looks like it could have been a fan-made YouTube trailer from 2009, and no one would even be able to tell the difference.

Right? And they're getting so much free advertising. I've seen dozens of articles & videos about it calling it crazy & absurd

I feel like a lot of people (including me) wouldn't even know it existed if it wasn't for that
