I didn't know Adi Shankar was the producer of Castlevania. Actually I didn't know anything about Adi Shankar until the recent Apu and The Simpsons controversy. Castlevania's season 1 was so so, but as a fan of the original Castlevania video game series, watched it from start to end.

Now knowing who is Adi Shankar, I decided not to watch Castlevania's season 2 and any other new seasons, nor any other Adi's works.

It's interesting Adi Shankar doesn't like how Apu is portrait in The Simpsons, but he is ok on how Castlevania portraits catholic religion. That's hypocrisy and having a double standard.

And BTW, as a catholic, I wasn't offended at all after watching Castlevania nor any other work hypercritical to the Catholic church. And that's why I expect people who appreciates good shows and art to do the same.
