Movie Pitch: Michael Myers is actually a Terminator, and Laurie Strode must team up with Sarah Connor to take him down

Who wouldn't want to see two badass legends together in a buddy action flick? Plus it would answer the question of why Myers just won't die. (Hey, there are plenty of examples of much worse retconning - literally within both the Halloween and Terminator franchises)

Does this mean I'm suggesting a shared John Carpenter / James Cameron universe? Yes. Yes I am. Would I also like to see Jack Burton show up halfway through the movie to accidentally save Laurie & Sarah? Then tag along, driving the two ladies nuts with his goofy bravado?

I might have to write this script just to get this idea out of my head! What else can we stuff into this movie?

LOL at anyone who views a chick as a "badass." Also, the idea of Michael Myers being a terminator is asinine, considering his story starts as a little kid. And no, there aren't any examples of worse retconning in the Halloween franchise, let alone "plenty" of examples. By retconning Michael Myers into a terminator, you're retconning literally everything about him, to the point that Myers isn't even a "him" anymore, it's an "it."

Also, why do you keep posting other people's threads from other sites such as Reddit? The idea of a forum is for people to post their own threads. When you post other people's threads you create a situation where the original author isn't even aware of the thread, so he/she won't be able to respond to comments on it.

And what if I post excerpts from an article like say, the Huffington Post or the New York Times, should I not do that since the original author isn't even aware of the thread and thus can't respond to comments on it. What if I post something from MovieChat to another message board. The idea of a forum is also to share information!

Exactly right. In fact, many forums have rules against merely posting an article without adding any comments of your own to it. In a similar vein, many forums have rules against posting a thread and then abandoning it. What you're doing has the same effect as that.

"The idea of a forum is also to share information!"

The idea of a forum is discussion, which is greatly hampered if the author isn't around to discuss it, and the re-poster hasn't added any thoughts of his own. Strictly speaking, it's also a copyright violation, since any original content that anyone publishes in any form is automatically copyrighted to them.
