Why is nobody talking about this show?

In my opinion? As a fan of hard-hitting, well-written shows like Breaking Bad, The Shield, The Wire etc, I think this is one of the very best shows you haven't heard of.
I'm telling you, you've GOT to check out this series. You get to binge it, you lucky bastard. I've spent the last two years having to wait-it-out for the next week's installment...and yeah, every episode left me jonesing for more.

Watch this show...because we really need to be talking about it. There's nobody talking about it here. Just me. Talking to myself when I should be knee-deep in people rioting about how great this story is.
In the early 80's, certain government officials wanted to wage a proxy war without having to go through congress about it first. Wars being expensive and all, they needed a LOT of money....which they raised by importing cocaine and selling it in Los Angeles...where it was made into crack by enterprising individuals and where all hell broke loose as a result.
Its interesting stuff with powerful performances and well-written, fully humanized characters.
