This vignette was bleak as hell. But I couldn't stop laughing during that prostitute scene... and I feel a little bad for it.
I couldn't read it all but the book mentions taking his companion to the bridge and resulting spash before walking away and not looking back.
shareWatch the opening scene of the episode and it shows an animated still of the reader looking upward with a gaze mixed with horror and disbelief. He also appears to be underwater. I think we can infer that this is from the actual act of the impresario dumping the boy into the river down below.
