I had a few questions....
Pertaining to her husband....why didn't he turn?
Pertaining to the first kill...am I to assume that she just cut his throat and did not bite him which in turn did not cause him to turn?
Did I miss...information about the medicine she was able to take to stave off her hunger? It is like it suddenly appears in the refrigerator with no mention of its origin

1. That wasn't too clear. I assume he got totally drained by that roaming vampire which cause ones not to turn? I really don't know, either

3. It clearly was to benefit her from transforming. The movie never mentioned the origin of it. I guess we're to assume.
I think he just straight up killed the husband and then fed. Presumably, one would only turn if they were alive.
share3. They never mentioned where the medicine came from. Maybe the original old vampire she met had it? Maybe some European doctors know about the vampire virus and how to slow it down? It wasn't a cure, more like a treatment to reduce the urge to kill and feed. The doctor in New York knew some kind of blood transfusion procedure that would work though. It seems there is some medical industry knowledge of it, but it's not public or widely known. Maybe a doctor or a scientist somewhere turned and figured it out?
