Hollywood=Liberalism and FOX NEWS= Conservativism. Hollywood NEVER goes after their own kind in a negative light.
shareWhy this movie?
shareStrictly on dramatic terms, Lauer was nowhere as big a fish as Ailes and he's accused were nowhere as prominent as Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson.
That being said, Ronin Farrow has a best- selling book about how NBC tried to get him to bury his investigation of Harvet Weinstein. I wouldn't be surprised to see a movie come out of that.
But really, who gives a shit about Lauer, lol
but not many know Ailes ..
matt lauer on the other hand is known by 100's of millions, around the world ....... he was on TV :-)
What have you heard about Lauer getting fired that would makes it interesting enough to be a good movie? Can you even name any of the women who spoke up against him without looking it up?
shareHe had a pretty interesting lock installed on his door that he could trigger from a button on his desk. Bond villainesque. I imagine the stories they paid to keep quiet are pretty frightening.
shareIf there is going to be a movie critical about NBC, I think it would be one about them trying to bury an investigation about Harvey Weinstein. It would feature a lot more stars being involved and it's a bigger story of corporate corruption.
It would be interesting to see if anyone would bankroll a movie about a Hollywood mogul, though.
Probably because if you were to put stories like this in order of spectacle, this one would be first on the list.
Matt Lauer...I don't know. He made some inappropriate remarks, I guess...apparently had an affair that strayed into questionable territory...or something, I forget.
Roger Ailes...a 50+ year political heavyweight running the most popular news network on the planet is taken down by some of the most popular female personalities on the planet? Yeah, I remember that shit right there, that was crazy.
That being said, Matt Lauer apparently had something to do with the ousting of Ann Curry...and I think had some kind of drama with Meredith Vieira. But Curry seemed to get a LOT of favorable press, a lot of vindication stories when Lauer was fired. Not quite sure what that was all about, but there's a movie to be made there too, I bet.
So make it.
Kirk Cameron should direct, Leni Riefenstahl could do the cinematography, and DW Griffith would produce.
The perfect wrong wing production.
You guys have the muscle and certainly the brains (?!?!)
Billy Bush also told NBC about the Access Hollywood Tape with Trump immediately after he announced he was running for President. NBC news decided that they wouldn't release the tape until the end of October, as close to Election Day as possible, in order to hurt Trumps campaign and not give him a chance to recover. They also said they would try to edit Bush out as much as possible in order to protect him. The Washington Post somehow got a hold of the tape and released it unedited in early October, and Bush was subsequently fired.
NBC also forbid SNL from doing jokes about Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein because "Those were "New York stories" and the rest of the country wouldn't know about it.
SNL ...... yes, that was pretty funny only 10 to 5 years ago
libturds also managed to ruin that...... and that pisses me off as a european,
Trump jokes 24/7 are not that funny !
then add the SJW mantra of not making fun of fat folks, women, gays etc...... only white folks like the current president = boring shit, that only a moron would laugh at.
