So much Potential....A big letdown(SPOILERS)

This is my favorite Type of genre, I love movies where there is a detective/person trying to catch a serial killer...

I saw the trailer for this movie about 2 weeks ago ...I've been looking forward to it...I rented it today...

it was decent...but man "This Concept/Idea" had EPIC potential for a movie...and this movie just in no way ran with that potential...

There wasn't enough "Cat and Moose" , The characters do Absurdly stupid things...and finally
the ending was FLAT

and then we get A horrible final send off that could have only been made and added on in the hopes for a possible sequel...

the movie makes it extremely clear the Killer was in fact the REAL Zodiac...yet they leave us With A horrible cliffhanger suggesting there's another killer...sure they could make sense out of it in a possible sequel, Maybe The Zodiac had a partner, Maybe Its The Zodiacs Son...

but in the end its a total pointless and terrible cliffhanger....because In the end the movie isn't good enough and wont be liked enough to get a sequel. So The ending is completely Pointless and was put on for no reason...

if this movie was great and had the potential to be A CULT favorite that may get a sequel based off fans reactions...then yes the cliffhanger ending would make sense, Their attempt at suggesting there is another killer would at least have a purpose...but this movie just isnt good enough to get a sequel, reactions wont be there to get a sequel, so this absurd cliffhanger is pointless

Rate the movie a 6.5...

was hoping for something like a 8.5 or 9

was waaay too slow. The ending made no sense starting from when the female protagonist took the semi and went after Harvey on her own and yeah, the cliff hanger was pure bs.

I agree. It had a lot of potential and was an interesting idea. But it fell flat. Pretty sure it was the acting.

I will also say that Leslie Bibb's character was extremely annoying. She would be really into the search and then the next scene she wants to stop. And then she's into it again and then she wants to stop again. Then she sneaks up on her husband when he has a gun and doesn't say a word. Then gets pissed that he pointed the gun at her. Hey, how about a little heads up next time???? Then she wants to stop and then she's running red lights to catch the guy. It all made no sense to me.
