The Remarkable Mira Servino

I saw "A Christmas To Remember" a few nights ago and I will watch it again tonight. As I watched it several nights ago I wasn't aware of the actress, it was just another Hallmark romance movie with a predictable script and I was watching it for the memory of loves I've had and lost long ago. I wasn't more than a quarter into the movie when I began to notice that the actress playing the lead had some serious chops. Everything she said and did drew me into the character and that, of course, is what a good actor/actress is supposed to do. However, this one, Mira, was taking a cookie cutter script and doing a master's class on how to deliver steak. At the end, when the credits rolled, my mouth dropped open to note her name as the lead and a flood of memories came back of a brilliant actress and a brilliant woman. Immediately, I fell in love with her character and Mira. May she be found by many more directors and producers and I sincerely hope Hallmark uses her again and again.
