Better than expected

I gotto say, this was much better than 'ready player one'. I suppose, you could argue that's not saying much, but actually.... I'd say this film wasn't too bad.

The humor was..... I guess there were a few laughs. 'Boss Level' had me laughing quite often, but in this film I chuckled only a few times. Still, there were more laughs than in many other 'comedies' out there.
I'd say the romance bit was pulled off quite well - at least it was in the final scene.
SFX were decent. The 'dude' was a good comedic relief, even though he too appeared near the end.

The drama with the evil owner of the company... that was pretty juvenile and boring.

Anyways, I'd say it's a lighthearted film with a few chuckles and a surprisingly effective romance bit (it could have been pulled off even better - with a few minor changes, but alas..) The romantic bit actually made me ponder about 'free will', which is quite unexpected and that alone made this film stand out from any other movie it may have borrowed ideas from. So, in the end.... I'd actually recommend this film.
