Excellent!
I've watched the first two episodes, and I'm hooked. Check it out, and you're welcome.

James: I love you too.
Alyssa: Yeah, don't go on about it.
Just finished Season Two. LOVED it: 8.5/10!

It's one of the best things on Netflix. I thought season 2 wasn't quite as good as season 1 but still great. I'm very much looking forward to season 3.

Yes it is! I LOVED both seasons, and can hardly wait for S3! Alex Lawther is delightfully dorky, and Jessica Barden is delightfully droll. And I love their British acccents!

There won't be a S3
shareSo it seems. Maybe that's for the better, too many shows go on for too long.
shareMany of us thought S2 was unnecessary but I enjoyed it despite being unnecessary and adding nothing to the story or character development. A third season however would probably be a bust.
shareDisagree on both character development and story. We saw the main duo are not in fact emotionless or sociopaths/psychopaths, contrary to how they has self-analysed in s1, but teens with a supressed surplus of emotion, in particular unexplored anxiety. They suffered from their spree, are haunted by it and as a result found a humanity they didn't think was there.
As for story, it's the same argument. They face the consequences of their actions in a vein similar to their earlier teen-angsty selves, a person as broken as themselves comes after them. It's a progression of realisations about their lives, including Bonnie.
All of this may be more on the downlow, but I personally like that greater subtlety.
On s3 we're agreed, the story does not need anything else, as the characters have now found their humanity.
I never thought he was a sociopath past ep1 so for me it was little more than an extended epilogue. I'm glad for it but I didn't learn anything new about the characters and the new girl was the same and provided no contrast or new insights. Still, this is better than many other shows I've watched, I don't mean to suggest it was in any way bad.
shareExtended epilogue is actually a nice way to put how this final season was, like a long finale.
Can't really disagree on Bonnie, as in the end they bonded over how similar they were.
Just finished season 2, I loved it. Iβll miss these characters.

You'll just have to wait for S3.

I heard they werenβt making a third season.

I hope they do, but no decision has been made yet. If they do, it probably would come out in late 2021. We shall see.
