How many here would cold cock David Miscavidge if they saw him in public
I'd hit him so hard I'd put him in a permanent coma.
shareI'd hit him so hard I'd put him in a permanent coma.
shareDoes it seem like they're all anti Moscavige and not anti Scientology? They're against his abuse, fair game and disconnection but if Miscavige was gone tomorrow would they all go back??
shareI'd say 1/3-1/2 on the show wouldn't go back. Last week's story with the two twin brothers had instances of where the 'scripture' was called BS. I get what you mean though, on some earlier episodes I saw signs of the former Scientologists walking around the matter of their scripture.
Leah seems to be growing more and more disgusted with it all though.
Watching the series, I'm always listening for what people have to say about church doctrine. Some seem to have a problem only with Miscarriage's reign of terror, as you say.
shareoh, i don't think so.. i think EVERYONE who has appeared on this show and certainly leah and mike rinder have expressed that scientology ITSELF is evil corrupt and insanity.. NO ONE on this show i don't think would ever ever think to go back or be involved in anyway miscavige or not...
shareFact is, the series has been about Church practices, not beliefs. We've not heard a whole lot about the belief system, so I don't know how you could be positive about "no one" among the ex-$cientologists being open to taking up the lunacy again.
shareThat's why he never goes out in public. He's the classic bully. A shrimp who likes to feel big by picking on others, but at heart he's a coward. He has to hide in his mansion and surround himself with bodyguards. I'd love to see him go to prison.
Orgies are not too much fun if no one wants to do it with you.
yep, in jail and all the "church" assets sold and given back to members and ex-members....starting with the victims first (those who left and were disconnected, etc...i.e., not TC).
shareAny SUPERNATURAL fans here??
I love that picture of Miscavage they use in that one episode--looks like it was the cover of a magazine or something: Miscavage standing in front of a desk, I think a portrait of LRH on the wall behind him, and he has his arms crossed or something. Of course Miscavage's hair is slicked back (I think) but he's so perfectly groomed he looks like a scumbag Wall Street shyster.
Anyway, that pic of Miscavage always reminds me of Dick Roman. I think there was a scene in SPN where they showed Dick Roman posing just like that, either for a press photo or maybe even for a magazine cover. My memory isn't the best so maybe I'm imagining things, but I'd love to see those photos side by side. The parallels may be more than simply superficial. Either way, Miscavage is a Dick.
I'm actually afraid someone will do something to DM one day...but I really, really, really hope it won't happen.
I don't want to see DM become a martyr. I much prefer that he remains untouched and healthy while he watches the CoS slowly disintegrate under his watch and the faithful wake up to the nonsense and leave it in droves. Then I'll look forward to watching the excessive coverage of all the courtroom drama as the truth finally comes out and DM is exposed and has to answer for his many crimes! Hell, we need him healthy so we can all watch him do the 'perp walk', too!
If you really want to screw David up just hand him a child, he's apparently terrified of children because he actually believes they are old souls and covered in the most "body thetans" `
shareI would have an army of lawyers, the news media, and provoke Miscavidge to strike first then I could claim self defense while exposing him for the world to see.
((Damn the remakes, Save the originals.))
He's so short I could just elbow him in the face instead. Lol!
