The Hole

At first, I wondered about that too, since they made it sound like it was purely for punishment. But then I got the impression that maybe they did work in The Hole, sort of like an army barracks--you do stuff, but still have to live in primitive conditions. Somehow if he'd been in the hole as punishment for two years, I think we'd have heard him talk more about it, like why he was there, and why he'd still be in such a high-ranked position afterward.

But yeah, that stuff about eating off the floor..... no idea what that crap is about. ALso no idea why everyone in the Hole didn't simply quit and escape as soon as they were out. 

I'm surprised they didn't mention the musical chairs they made them play in The Hole, to Bohemian Rhapsody (I think that was the song they played).
