If I have to pay to be in a "cult" or "religion" that group can F off
Morons.
shareThey prey on the weak and disaffected. They court celebs who are by nature, generally, totally needy.
shareThey obviously make promises of return on your investment.
shareEarly on the cost isn't thousands of dollars. As Leah said it's like $30 and it's self help. One book of an ex member I read said they just took classes at first to help them on job interviews. It wasn't religion. Then another class to help with speaking to other. It's all about bettering yourself and most people want to improve who they are. People are lured into.
shareYes, apparently they take advantage of the weaknesses of people, like you say to them that you are anxious about a job, a school project whatever, they tell you "we can help you with that, it doesn't matter what religion you are we only want to help you" and then they suck you in.
