...They have the cross as part of their logo. Very misleading. Fraudulent, even.

one cult stealing anothers symbols? nothing new, there were a lot of fringe religions in Rome before Christianity that used similar stories and symbols, I saw a documentary recently, I believe they found one place that predates Christianity that also had a cross.
December 25th has been the "birthdate" of many forgotten religious deities, its all one big scam.
The cross symbol was explained in one of the most recent episodes. It might have been in the "Ask Me Anything" one. I don't remember it exactly, but it was something on the order of their cross having eight points and those represented the eight levels of human existence or some such nonsense. Google would probably know better.

I believe they adopted the cross symbol while they were trying to get recognized as a religion so that they wouldn't have to pay taxes. The 8 points thing is just b.s.
