Will ratings drop when BBT is gone?
Seeing as Big Bang Theory is ending soon, without the lead in, will Young Sheldon take a dive?

shareNo, it is pretty good as a stand alone show. Not on the level of Cheers or All in The Family but watchable and then some. It would have been bad if all of the adult Sheldon's quirks were retro-graded into his 9 year old self but they did not do it that way.
shareIt definitely wont. People who are not fans of TBBT enjoys Young Sheldon. It feels like a stand alone show, heck you do not need to know anything about TBBT to enjoy it. It is a very nostalgic show that reminds me of some family comedy shows that used to be shown in the 80's and 90's. It's a warm blanket of a show. I think Young Sheldon filled a gap for people who missed the types of situation comedy they could watch with all their family.
shareYoung Iain Armitage is quite convincing in the role, and a good actor for someone so young.
He's charming, without being cloying. I get a much better vibe from him than I do the adult Sheldon -- no offense to Jim Parsons, who plays his role very well.
I don't think the ratings will drop since it's keeps getting better each week. Iain Armitage is great as Sheldon and Zoe Perry as Mary and Annie Potts really brings the comedy to the show as Meemaw.
I loved when Sheldon's sister drew the face on the mask in tonight's episode.
Ya, that was funny!
shareI don’t know about others but I’ll keep watching.
shareThe best news I have heard in a while is that BBT is ending soon. That once-good show has been dead for a few years. The sooner it's buried, the better.
shareI guess I'm in the minority, but I think BBT just keeps getting better and better. I love Amy and Sheldon's relationship. I hope by the time it ends they find a forever partner for Raj.
