The elder (spoilers)
Goddamn.. That was the heartbreak of the movie...
Setting - Nothing is above the high table.. And the elder sits on top of it.. And then when you get to the elder you realise NYC (and the world, I guess) is being ruled from the deserts of Morocco by a man who they show as a tough negotiator for all of 5-7 mins..
Setting up such a world has to be done over a long period of time and masterminded over tumultuous details...
They made a hash of the whole hype and now have major repairs to do in Part 4.... Even the manager and Charon commanded better screen presence than the elder!
