She's horrible on the screen. She can single-handedly ruin a whole movie.

shareWhile she is no stranger to starring in unforgettably mediocre movies, it’d be odd to put the blame on her for the failure of those movies. If you ask me, she has been very well casted when put in the right role+better movie. Even in several of her lesser movies (let’s not bring up stuff like Catwoman) she’s proven to be a competent actress.
Granted it’s been a while since I found myself being overly impressed by her acting. However, I can’t ever remember seeing a movie with her and thinking to myself that she single-handedly ruined it. At worst, she can be unmemorable. But at any rate, I trust Stahelski. As long as the film delivers, and my gawd does this look epic, then I’m sure Halle will be good in this. She looks badass in the trailer.
Yeah I kinda thought the same thing when I saw her in the trailer. Really brought my excitement levels for this way down. I don’t think she’s necessarily a bad actress, but I do think she is somewhat overrated and a poor fit for a John wick movie

She's definitely a shell of her former self as a bond girl. Nowadays she looks sickly, frail, and eliminates all sex appeal with the disheveled granny wigs worn in every movie.
