Historically accurate?
How accurate is this series? I am mostly concerned with how the shooting began because the rest follows from there.

I remember watching the series and thinking that it seemed fairly accurate from what I knew of the Waco incident, but that was back when it first aired and I'm pretty foggy on the details now.
On a related note, if you ever want to see an excellent documentary about Waco, then watch Waco: The Rules of Engagement. It was made in 1997 and so the filmmaking style feels dated today, but it's an excellent film. In fact, it was nominated for an Academy Award.
