Who asked for this film?
This story has been done to death. Seems like a straight to Netflix movie. I'm OK if it does well and gets good reviews but I'm not expecting that for a January release.

shareThe story has been done and has been done far,FAR BETTER.
This is simply a jumbled incomprehensible mess. It uses too much "shaky cam" and bad editing.
It wastes the talents of Goodman, who is usually enjoy. It totally exploits the name of Vera Farmiga who I also enjoy, but she has a VERY minimal role here.
In order for me to "get into" LIKE, Identify with, relate to, or understand at least some of the characters in a movie. I connected with nobody here,
I guess I had nigher hopes because of Goodman and Farmiga, but they dont really add a thing to this. The roles could have been played by anyone and it would have changed nothing for me.
The token "look what we can do with CGI" moments and the unneeded "shaky cam" made it even more annoying. There was no sort of "hook" to get me into the movie and it simply left me with a sigh of relief saying "i'm glad thats over".
I clueless what critics found in this movie but from what I am learning, its just a paycheck, just as it is for those who made it.
