Saw the film. If you read her book, there were a number of things let out of the doc, like the fact that she had been up all night with the Italian cops, she didn't understand any Italian at the time, wasn't even sure that her translator was getting right some of what said, and they were actually smacking her upside the head a couple of times to get what they wanted.
shareI believed her the entire time. But now that I watched the special I can see why they suspected her. She portrays herself oddly. Things she says and does are a little strange. But again I have no idea I wasn't there.
