Have An Art Deco Metropolis
Like the Fleischer cartoons come to life with 30's and 40's aesthetic or the retro futuristic Metropolis from the Animated Series.

shareFunny you bring that up. I don't think I had ever even heard of Max Fleischer before about a week ago when I ran into this:

Pretty cool. I agree, do something like that.
A Christopher Reeve like Superman in a Fleischer landscape.
shareThat would be cool but I really wonder if we'll ever see a Reeve-like Superman again. They did that with Superman Returns and the film performed under box office expectations. Then they seemed to compensate with Man of Steel, which really is pretty far from Christopher Reeve and his films, and they did much better financially so I wonder if the studios will ever go retro again.
shareNot likely to be a carbon copy of Christopher Reeve, may give him more personality than Cavill. Superman Returns failed for being diet 78 Supes, lack of action and a miscast Lois Lane.
shareImagine David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan dressed like Golden Age Lois and Clark.
shareI had to look up David Corenswet. He looks too young to me but I see that he's actually 30.
Brosnahan is an interesting choice. That's intriguing but she would need to turn in a performance that's totally different from what I'm used to getting from her after multiple seasons of Mrs. Maisel.
Will have a retro futuristic vibe with some 70s aesthetic.
