It was decent pop-corn action movie. Old style

They dont make that many movies like this anymore. There were no wokeness etc. Just some decent action movie.

Everything with the plane breaking down mid air and landing was phenomenal. It was tense and believable.

I liked how they basically ignored passengers, only showed few guys whining. Usually those kind of movies spend half the time to passengers being stressed and whine non-stop. Here movie left them on their own.

It was actually funny that I kept expecting the people behind the company to keep turning Evil and order to just leave plane there and not tell anyone For Evil Reasons! Because they are corrupt and only think about money. But they actually did help and got them out. They were not evil.

I agree with your take. And the absence of woke was a surprising plus, absolutely. Too many contemporary movies are ruined, right off the bat, with woke casting ( mostly.)

I'd give the movie an 8/10 because it's entertaining, with good action scenes and pace, and mainly because it's helmed by Gerard Butler, but I found one scene just ruining the whole experience for me.

When the hostages are taken to the village and the bad guy's main sidekick records them for a ransom, he only asked for their name and nationality, not their pronouns!!!

How bigoted can you get? 1/10 for me, do not recommend :(
