Definitely worth watching.

Although I can't guarantee that you'll know what the fuck you watched by the time it's over. But still worth the watch LOL πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜† Oh, and it's definitely non-woke. So that makes it all the better. 🀭🀭🀭🀭

ETA: I thought the bottle blowing on bridge at night trope was dumb though. I think they could've come up with a better one than that.

Yes, fun fact ! Director David Prior is a looong time personal friend of David Fincher. The Empty Man looks like DF film.

Yeah. People derided the length/pacing. Which is sorta reasonable. I think this could have been edited in a tighter fashion. But it was well-shot, and it was wholly engaging all the way through. Points for atmosphere, and even if you don't really understand what's happening until the very end, it feels quite satisfying.

I like long movies and think all movies should be a minimum of 2 hours. Even more than 2 hours if the movie is good. And this movie is good. And even though they do explain in the end what's going on, if you go back and rewatch it or think about what you saw and try to connect the dots, it doesn't really add up, the math doesn't really work. But it's still a good movie nonetheless. Which is rare with me. Because I like movies to make sense. This one does at least try to make sense in the end but like I said, when you really think about it, it doesn't quite jibe. But because the atmosphere, the creep factor, and the acting is so good, I still very much enjoyed it.

It's been on my list for a while now, I guess I might as well go for it.

Not knowing what the fuck I just watched is what I most look for in films these days.

Then you'll be happy you watched LOL. Lot's of non-woke stuff too. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜

Agreed (the mood was similar to Hereditary IMO)
I must applaud the directing, Prior knows his scares. Surprised so many people don't seem to like it, maybe the nightmare logic was offputting.
