shareI stopped watching the Oscars about 5 years ago, maybe because my friend stopped giving their big, annual viewing party. The show is just so long and not very entertaining...and I'm not into most current movies these days, so I'm not that invested in who wins all the time : (

shareI remember it was a big thing at the university I attended for undergrad. They ended up having a viewing party with appetizers and they had sheets to where we could make our predictions. The winners would get a chocolate replica of an Oscar looking trophy and of course, the foil it was wrapped in was golden. That thing sat up on a wooden shelf of my dorm room for like 3 months before I caved in and had eaten it.
