Every bad film sub forum has them. The "I thought it was cheesy fun", "I was expecting worse but was pleasantly surprised" and "8 of 10". These fucking contrarians need to targeted and destroyed.

No matter how shit a film is they come on to the forum and spoil the fun of the normal people there to ridicule it.

I bet there's some cunt over on the "Mac and Me" sub forum or "The Room" sub forum vehemently defending pure shit and attacking sane folk who post negative comments.

I was over on the Robocop 2 forum and there's lots of "I preferred it to the original" cunts.

I won't fault someone for liking braindead movies since I like my share of them.

It does annoy me when people say things like "What'd you expect, the Godfather?" No, I didn't go into these movies expecting a lot, but it failed to meet even my low expectations. I wasn't even entertained like Marvel movies sometimes entertain me.

I actually did expect The Godfather, but I’d accidentally walked into the wrong auditorium so it was my fault really.

There's always a moron that starts a thread exactly like yours. The movie was so-so, not great, definitely not the worst movie ever. Go hate on those movies, but you won't because it's more fun to hate on a mainstream movie. Movies exist for entertainment, if you can't be entertained, then stop watching movies and do something else with your life.

Unless they think something like The Kissing Booth is good, I don't have a problem with it. Just let people like what they like. Honestly I have more of a problem with people that try to say a movie is bad by nitpicking little things that really don't matter that much. Or there's films considered generally "good" by audiences that I personally don't think are that good.

Now you may have a point about movies like "Mac and Me," but still, it's really nothing to get so angry about. If that's "spoiling the fun" for you, then yeesh.
