Nonsense. The moon would just burn up in the atmoshere

Like any other meteor etc.

reply

Yes. Just not fast enough.

reply

The moon is 2000 miles in Diameter! Do you think meteors anywhere near that size are regularly entering our atmosphere and somehow burning off before impact?

reply

But the moon is made of cheese, which is much softer than meteors, which are rocks.

reply

but what kind of cheese?? they have different melting points, you know

reply

I always assumed Gouda.

reply

Also, the moon will be gone in the morning anyway.

reply

This movie sounds dumb but this post somehow is even dumber. I hope the OP was joking

reply

What about the meteorite that wiped out the dinosaurs?

reply

It was probably bigger than the moon

reply

Umm. No. The meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs was only about 6 miles wide. The moon is 2,159 miles wide. Its gravity is enough that it causes the tides of Earth's oceans, and has many other effects. Life on Earth evolved with the moon there, and possibly because the moon was there. Without the moon, there would be a lot of changes (Earth's tilt would fade, and along with it the seasons we now experience and rely on, along with a number of other affects, which could be bad), although it's possible life would adapt. If the moon were to hit the Earth, however, it has enough mass that the two bodies would shatter. Not only would it kill all life on Earth, but prevent any chance of any form of life continuing. Why? Because there wouldn't be an Earth anymore.

I suspect you're trolling with your OP, though (hopefully). If not, it's a sad indictment of our education system.

but, because the earth is flat, and the moon is really smaller and fake, it would burn up in the part of the dome that is highest

:D

It's just a light in the sky.
