Halle Berry...
...looks absolutely georgeous!
But why Patrick Wilson tho? Very random casting tbh. Should have taken Chris Pratt instead.

She is good looking, but I don't buy her as an astronaut at all.
shareWhy not? She's already an astronaut in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
shareShe was also an astronaut in the cancelled series Extant.
shareShe got the role because she's a woman and she's Black.
shareAh, I see. Don't watch the movie then. Show them who's boss!
shareI will watch the movie, I just won't pay for it.
shareIf you watch it you'll get brainwashed by Hollywood. Don't!
shareI will watch it for entertainment value (if it ends up with decent ratings). No amount of Hollywood brainwashing can breach my mind. My critical thinking skills are too good for that.
shareExactly what a brainwashed person would say! Be careful now.
shareAnd why would a brainwashed person say something like that?
shareDrunken people always say they're not drunk.
shareDo you have any evidence for that?
shareDo you?
shareI'm not making the claim.
shareOkay.
shareGreat thread lmao
And funny thing is, jokes aside...
"No amount of...brainwashing can breach my mind. My critical thinking skills are too good for that."
IS exactly what a brainwashed person would say. Cause at that point, they're not open to correcting themselves anymore.
Ikr!
shareYou confuse brainwashing with new evidence. These are different things.
shareI prefer Patrick Wilson over Chris Pratt (and Halle Berry) to be perfectly honest. I think the latter two have been mad overrated.
shareChris Pratt is a lot of fun, has a ton of charisma, and apparently is a hell of a nice guy in real life (which makes me like him more as an actor).
I'm not sure how much range he has, but in certain kinds of roles he excels.
Yeah, I dunno, he just doesn't grab me; I'm also uncertain of his range as well. I hear he was good with Tomorrow War but I didn't really have much interest in the movie itself to check it out. I also like his IRL persona too; he seems like an honest, good guy. And I certainly would have been interested in checking this movie out even if he were the lead instead. I don't dislike him.
shareI enjoyed The Tomorrow War. I'd say that if you like sci-fi popcorn action films, where human characters battle alien beasts, and that have a bit of humor while also having a strong emotional center, then you should check it out.
I wonder if we'll ever see Pratt tackle a straight-up dramatic role. About the closest that I've seen to that so far is his small role in the western The Kid.
