Why did June tell Emily to call her baby Nicole and not Holly? The name Holly was after June's mother. Rather than Nicole which is the name Serena chose?!

Yes, I thought of that exatera. But surely June would not forget that Serena held her down whilst Fred raped her to induce labour! That was hideous to watch, especially when June was pleading with them to stop. Surely that would outweigh any loyalty to Serena. As you say, illogical behaviour and bad writing!
shareThat's not to mention that Serena was dead set against letting June see the baby initially for a while there. June actually spent a lot less time with the baby than without her.
I think this was somewhat excusable because Serena obviously felt threatened by the obvious connection June would have with the baby as her actual mother. I think June could see that for what it is and forgive it once Serena ultimately made the sacrifice of what she wanted most of all (motherhood) for the good of the baby.
But Serena assisting the commander in raping June....that seems it should be unforgivable to both June and the viewer.
